MITHRA International Foundation has partnered with Building Blocks Preschool of Highland, Michigan. The school’s program addresses the needs of the developing child by introducing educational methods which stimulate children as they learn at their own pace. Children are provided with rich materials and experiences that promote expression, curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, decision making, problem solving and positive social interactions.  Building Blocks Preschool is a Michigan certified green school.

MITHRA International has partnered with Building Blocks Preschool – Highland, MI, in building a natural green playscape at the Building Blocks Preschool in Highland, MI. Both organizations believe that children benefit greatly from unstructured play in natural settings. According to research studies, children exercise their bodies and minds more in a natural playground because of the variety of stimuli around them.

The Natural Playscape program has been endorsed by a team of preschoolers’ parents and local volunteers who embraced the idea that children need to play in natural surroundings, exercising and enjoying nature. Let’s prevent the consequences of modern life style and physical inactivity in the long term by creating a natural green playscape!
